Your choices belong to you—and only you
I offer information and guidance without judgment, pressure, or a “right way” to birth.
About me
I believe good support begins with listening. We will create an atmosphere for you to trust your body, ask all the questions, and make informed decisions.

My path here
I’m Daisy (she/her), and I began my professional life in dance, choreography, and Pilates. I studied Dance at Appalachian State University, completed a 450-hour classical Pilates teacher training program at Drexel University, and went on to teach mat and equipment Pilates full-time. I also attended specialized Pre and Postnatal Pilates training at Drexel focused on supporting people through pregnancy and rebuilding after birth. Somatic practice taught me to pay attention to the whole person—not just what a body is doing, but how someone feels while moving through an experience.
There is no single “right” body and no single “right” way to move. I bring that same grounded, nonjudgmental philosophy into the birth room.
I am also comfortable behind a camera. If you would like images from your labor and birth, I am happy to capture some along the way—we can talk at a prenatal visit about what photos you would like to have taken.
As a doula, I offer support with practical preparation, hands-on comfort, emotional steadiness, and consent based decision making that enables you to guide your birth story. I am there to support your decisions—not to replace your medical team or make decisions for you.
Why birth work?
I have always thought pregnant people should be uplifted, revered, and supported like the superheroes you are.
I have heard too many stories of birthing people not being listened to or having to divert their energy from laboring to navigating the healthcare system. My role is to advocate beside you—helping you stay focused on your labor rather than managing the circumstances around it.
I believe that having a doula who knows your birthing preferences, who can help ask the questions that need answers, and who can put your birthing experience emotionally and physically at the forefront of your birthing journey is imperative to good outcomes.
I believe every birthing person deserves a doula. Cost doesn’t have to be a barrier to us working together.
What guides my care
I offer information and guidance without judgment, pressure, or a “right way” to birth.
Support is collaborative; I help birthing partners prepare both physically and emotionally to assist during labor and birth.
Breath, movement, position changes, and rest are incredible coping mechanisms when they feel right for you.
